Debra began her career at the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre when she started working with adolescents and children at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children. She worked for a staggering 17 years as an employee at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children, providing her services to various schools.Currently, she provides intervention, program consultation, and assessment in the Sunrise School Division for students.Debra also possesses more than 10 years of experience in the case management of complex rehabilitation programs. Due to her additional work experience in psychiatry, she has developed unmatchable skills and expertise in dealing with people who require interventions with a psychosocial aspect. Debra has also worked with the geriatric population for the past 10 years completing home assessments to identify aids and supports that address safety and independence at home and in the community. She has always focused on further developing and enhancing her professional skills in rehabilitation services by attending a wide range of continuing education programs throughout her entire career.
