Our solutions could be individualized to cater to individual needs.

Our therapists have extensive experience in identifying and reducing psychosocial barriers that impact the performance of life and work roles of the individuals in their chosen environments by applying evidence-based treatment strategies. For example, our therapists are trained in the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) and develop treatment strategies under consideration of their training to increase participation in activity and facilitate return to work. Our therapists also completed formal training in the field of addictions offered by the Addictions Foundation of Manitoba and are experienced in assisting clients to pursue treatment for their addictions or co-occurring disorders. Our solutions could be individualized to cater to individual needs. Our treatment measures also include the following:

  • Communication with physician, psychologist, psychiatrist or community service providers or agencies.
  • Facilitate goal setting
  • Facilitate structured activity setting
  • Promote and analyse gradual increase in activity participation
  • Provide education and coaching regarding modifying activities to allow for active participation
  • Use basic behavioural modification technique
  • Educate about proper use of tools and equipment at work and at home
